Bermuda Engineering Brings Smartcool ECO3 to New Market

Vancouver, BC. December 8, 2011, Smartcool Systems Inc. (TSX-V: SSC) is pleased to announce the successful launch of a new distributor in Bermuda.  Bermuda Engineering Co. Ltd. has registered very positive results on initial testing of Smartcool’s ECO3 with a local architectural firm, Cooper Gardner in partnership with Air Care Ltd.  “The ECO3 installation on our office air conditioning unit will cut our electricity bill by over $550 per year, giving us a return on investment in under 2 years,” say partners John Gardner and Julia van Beelen, from Cooper Gardner.  “This increased energy efficiency is helping us meet our goal of becoming a greener company and makes clear economic sense.”

Smartcool Announces Close of First Tranche Private Placement Offering

Vancouver, BC. November 15, 2011, Smartcool Systems Inc. (TSX-V: SSC) today announced that it plans to offer through a non-brokered private placement up to 2,500,000 units at price of $0.20. Each unit will consist of one common share and one half of one common share purchase warrant. Each whole common share purchase warrant will entitle the holder to acquire one common share at an additional purchase price $0.30 per share at any time up to twelve months from the closing date.
